How to install (This is a self-extracting file.)

Please confirm that the supported software is installed in your computer. Prior to installing the driver, close all your personal computer applications, including any resident programs such as virus detection program, etc.

  1. Click on the above file name to download the data to desired folder.
  2. After the download to your PC is finished, double-click on the file’s icon to start the installer program.
  3. After the installer starts, follow the instructions given on each screen.
  4. After installation, execute GP-Pro EX.
  5. Click on the Device/PLC area’s [OMRON Corporation] selection and select [CS/CJ/NJ Series EtherNet/IP].

When using the driver, be sure to refer to the Device Connection Manual PDF.

The following bugs have been fixed.

  • After transfer to NJ Series from a ladder tool is executed during connection with the NJ Series, communication becomes disabled.
  • When resetting the Display, turning on/off the power or project transfer is repeated, communication may be disabled.

  • The Display may hang up if PLC has a BOOL type tag in the member of structure at NJ series when using driver version Ver. 1.15.02.

The following bug has been fixed.

  • When a Byte array in the NJ series is used at random, a correct value may not be displayed.
  • When 83 or more variables with short character strings are continuously registered in the NJ series, an error occurs, which disables the start of communication.
  • When many variables with long character strings are continuously registered in the CJ2 series, an error occurs, which disables the start of communication.
    (Example) When 39 or more variables with 48 characters are continuously registered.
