GP-Pro EX/ How to re-install Pass-Through setting tool
This FAQ states about the procedure of version up and re-install of Pass-Through setting tool.
Please download a latest version of installer of Pass-Through from web site before installing.
If you faced the below cases, could you follow the below "How to re-install".
a) You cannot install due to pop up message "It needs Electronic signature for driver"
b) communication does not work after installed.
<How to re-install>
1. Open Device Manager of Windows
In case of Windows10: Start Menu>Windows System tool>Control Panel>Hardware and sound>Device and Printer>Device Manager
2. Make [Show Hidden devices] enable
3. Entirely delete the below items in Port(COM and LTP)
・Pass-Through for AGP(COM*)
・Pass-Through for User(COM*)
"*" is any number
<How to delete>
Conduct [Uninstall] by right click
NOTE: Enable [delete this drivers software] before uninstall
4. Close device Manager
5. Open [Application and Function] by right click on start menu
Please confirm Pass-Through setting tool
If it exists, please delete it.
6. It is needed the manual operation. Please open the below folder by explorer
C:\Windows\System32\drivers
NOTE: In case of hidden folder, please input directly.
7. If there are below three files in that folder, please delete these files.
vrcombus.sys
vrcomgdrv.sys
vrcomudrv.sys
8. Install Pass-Through V1.04.10
If you did not face message "It needs Electronic signature for driver", you were able to finish the this work.
9. If you faced message "It needs Electronic signature for driver" again, please follow installer dialog message.
If being requested to re-start, please follow it.
10. Please attempt to re-install again from pcodedure No.1.
