Barcode Reader Connection

A barcode reader can be connected to either the USB port or the COM1 port on the GP3000 series. For the details, please refer to GP-Pro EX Reference Manual 16.2 Connecting a Barcode/Two-dimensional Code Reader. NOTE * Each of the COM1 port and the USB port allows one barcode reader to be connected to, however, if you connect two barcode readers at the same time and store the code data in the Data Display part or the internal device from both barcode readers, the system may not work properly. One barcode reader should be set up to store data to the Data Display part, and the other should be set up to store data to the internal device.
