This is the symptom caused by a router or a firewall rejecting the communication of a procedure for sending/receiving, which is demanded from the server.
If you set [PASV] mode, the client ( your PC) will send a demand to the server at first. Therefore, it gets possible to transfer because a router or a firewal does not reject the procedure of FTP file transfer. |
