KC standards is a certification system that came into effect in 2008 to protect the domestic radio wave environment in Korea, by minimizing human and property damages caused by unnecessary generation of electromagnetic waves and communication failures and erroneous operation of equipment triggered by other equipment or external radio waves. Along with the revision of the standards, HMI has been newly added as an applicable product to the standards from January 1, 2010.
(The mark of standards, KCC, was changed to ""KC"" in January, 2011.)
